Despondent Update
I’m sorry folks for not updating anyone sooner, lots of life stuff going on… But I do have some pretty major news. For those not in the know, we have completely moved into post production as stated on Facebook. We are looking at creating a Fan Page so folks can follow along in an easier fashion as well as for us to update easier. I’m also looking into a twitter feed for the film and Israel is looking into the facebook piece.
We are going to be working, I will be working on composition over the course of the next two weeks while in between some career events, so I’m very hopeful that two things will come out of this. We will be able to complete the full rough draft and lock the film, send it off to Roger Hooper and begin scoring, 2nd.. Have our first time-line screening of the film to a very private screening audience. I cannot wait for that to be quite honest. This will really help out pacing when getting feedback from others but overall, we’re so diligent to cut where needed that I don’t think pacing will be a problem. Israel may also be coming over the assist with all of the composition and of course, we’ll be finishing up the narration which is turning out better than I think we both hoped.
The Special Effects are difficult to say the least but they seem to be coming together to create that wow factor of “how did they do that?”.. but nothing special or out of the realm of the willful suspension of disbelief. So there!
Now that I have a little time on my hands, it’s morning prayer and working here from the home office for the next two weeks at least. But also getting some things done around the house!
